What is Civil Air Patrol?
At McHenry County Composite Squadron, we’re proud to be part of CAP’s Illinois Wing.
Put simply, we are patriots aged 12 and up — A vital force that protects Americans in need by responding to disaster. We help to ensure our country’s preeminence in aviation through our Aerospace Education program provided to our members and the community, we preserve the values that make our country great by developing young leaders as part of our Cadet Program, and we provide useful services to the Air Force and other government agencies as part of our Emergency Services mission. If you want to know more, you can read about CAP’s history online here.
